Erik Humphrey, Owner/Designer
Erik began his career in furniture and interior design 32 years ago. He has designed homes and retreats for clients all over the United States. Erik also has a passion for remodeling and restoring homes in Idaho and Arizona. Erik was born and raised in Idaho. He moved to Arizona in 1990 to pursue a Bachelor's Degree in Finance from Arizona State University. His ability to create beautiful environments while being sensitive to the financial parameters of each project make Erik unique in the design industry. Erik met and married his wife Katie 29 years ago and they are now raising 3 beautiful children in North Central Phoenix. Erik and his family believe that giving back to the community is equally important. They are active supporters of Barrow Neurological Institute for the treatment and support they provide to current and past adults and children with brain tumors. Monika Zolnierczyk - Manage/Interior designer
Monika is originally from Chicago and relocated to Phoenix at a young age. She holds a degree in Business from Arizona State University, bringing a strong foundation in organization and client-focused service to her work in interior design. Inspired by thoughtfully curated interiors and refined living spaces, Monika is deeply aligned with Hyde Park Interiors’ commitment to custom, transitional, and contemporary design delivered with exceptional quality.
Being a part of the firm for 8 years at Hyde Park, now as an Interior Designer and Manager, Monika contributes to both the creative and operational aspects of the studio, supporting the seamless execution of full-service, high-end residential projects. With a keen eye for detail and an appreciation for fine furnishings and layered interiors she plays an integral role in shaping spaces that feel elevated, timeless, and personal.
Outside the studio, Monika enjoys spending time with her family and traveling, drawing inspiration from architecture, culture, and the distinctive spaces she encounters. These experiences continue to enhance her design sensibility and reinforce her commitment to creating interiors that balance beauty, function, and intention.
KIANA HEBER- INTERIOR DESIGNER
Kiana is originally from Colorado, where she earned a business degree and certification in Interior Design. She moved to Scottsdale a little over three years ago and immersed herself into the industry staging homes and developing designs for both residential and commercial spaces. With her passion, attention to detail, and proficiency with Auto CAD, she is looking forward to collaborating with clients on their projects to make it a place they are inspired by.
Outside of Hyde Park she enjoys spending time with friends and family, exploring the city, and trying new coffee shops in town.
ALISON Meyer - INTERIOR DESIGNER
Alison Meyer is an Arizona native. She went to school at the University of Arizona and received her BFA with an emphasis in Photography. Her eye for composition and balance has gone hand and hand with Interior Design. She is proficient in Auto CAD and has gained invaluable experience working with the Designers here at Hyde Park. Alison is thankful to work in an industry that allows her to use her creativity and passion for design. Alison is positive, kind and always excited to meet new clients. Alison and her husband, Dayton, welcomed a baby girl, Rosie, in August. When Alison is not at Hyde Park you can find her enjoying a nice patio with her dog Vinny!
Ceci Astorga - Interior Designer
Ceci Astorga is an Interior Designer at Hyde Park Interiors, known for her effortless blend of modern elegance and livable luxury. Her love of design sparked early—she and her twin sister, Cynthia, would spend hours leafing through their mother’s interior design magazines, cutting out their favorite pieces and transforming them into miniature dream Barbie houses—an early glimpse of the creative path they would both follow.
After running her own design firm, Ceci now brings her refined eye and thoughtful sensibility to Hyde Park Interiors, crafting spaces that are as functional as they are beautiful. Her signature approach balances sophistication with warmth, transforming each client’s vision into interiors that feel curated, personal, and timeless.
A native of Arizona, Ceci holds a Bachelor of Arts with a certification in Interior Design. When she’s not designing, she can be found biking to weekend brunches, wandering art galleries, exploring architecture, traveling for inspiration, or enjoying long, laughter-filled moments with friends and family.
NADIA PUTNAM - DESIGN ASSISTANT
Originally from the charming historic town of Annapolis, Maryland, Nadia's foundation is built on an appreciation for timeless elegance and meticulous craftsmanship. Her journey west in 2018 led her to secure a Bachelor of Science in Interior Design from Northern Arizona University, grounding her aesthetic flair in robust technical expertise.
Post-graduation, Nadia refined her client focus and service standards in the exciting world of luxury sales and retail management at one of Scottsdale’s prestigious five-diamond resorts. This tenure cultivated a deep understanding of the sophisticated client experience.
Nadia offers clients more than just beautiful spaces; she delivers architectural precision and unwavering dedication to quality assurance. Proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp, and the Adobe Creative Suite, she seamlessly translates visionary concepts into impeccably detailed, personalized realities.
When she steps away from the drawing board, Nadia immerses herself in the local culture, savoring the latest culinary experiences, seeking inspiration at live concerts, or grounding herself in the creative discipline of pottery throwing.
Ellie kaufman - design assistant
Originally from Missouri, Ellie moved to Arizona in 2023 after earning her B.S. in Architectural Studies with an emphasis in Interior Design from the University of Missouri. During her studies, she developed strengths in space planning, 3D visualization, and creating functional, human-centered design solutions. She is skilled in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and a range of digital tools that bring concepts to life with clarity and creativity.
Outside of Hyde Park, Ellie enjoys spending time with her friends, family, and her sweet pups, Bill and Blair. She also values traveling and draws much of her design inspiration from experiencing new places, cultures, and environments around the world.
Aaron Prieskorn - Operations Manager
Aaron has been working in the furniture industry for over 20 years, from high-end fine furnishings all the way to consignment. At Hyde Park Interiors, you will find Aaron handling daily showroom needs, assisting customers, and facilitating office operations. Aaron also takes special care in placing furniture, hanging artwork, and carrying heavy items, all done with professionalism and an eye for detail. Customer service is his first priority, and he will always strive to make sure that the needs of the client are met and beyond satisfactory. Aaron is married to Tangie, and they have 4 beautiful children – 3 girls and one boy. Outside of Hyde Park Interiors, he enjoys hiking, working out, reading, and spending time with his family.
Hayden Berks - Operations Support
Hayden is a Phoenix native. We are looking forward to guiding Hayden in this new career choice. Having worked in warehouse jobs previously, Hayden is excited to be part of the Hyde Park Team. Hayden@hydeparkinteriordesign.com
Katelynn "Katie" Maul - Vendor and Logistics Coordinator
Originally from Colorado, Katelynn moved to Scottsdale in 2023 and has since become an integral part of the team at Hyde Park Interiors. A 2022 graduate from Washington State University with a bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Katelynn has a keen interest in the operational and business aspects of the industry.
With a strong focus on logistics and client satisfaction, Katelynn works closely with vendors to ensure that projects run smoothly from start to finish. She is dedicated to coordinating timelines and making sure all items arrive on time and in perfect condition. Her hard work and attention to detail help deliver seamless results, keeping clients happy and projects on track.
Outside of work, Katelynn enjoys learning and experimenting with new recipes in the kitchen, as well as spending time with her friends.
MJ Phalen - Manager Hyde Park Fine Art
MJ Phalen brings over 30 years of experience in the Fine Art and Luxury Sales market to her role as Art Gallery Director at Hyde Park Fine Art. She holds a BFA from the University of San Francisco and the Academy of Art College.
Following a successful career as a Commercial Illustrator in Chicago, with agents in New York, San Francisco, and Chicago, MJ transitioned into the Fine Art world. Her personal Oil Paintings and Figure Drawings have been sold in numerous galleries, and she has extensive experience in all aspects of the Art Gallery Business.
MJ is passionate about creating art, connecting artists with those who appreciate their work, and spending time with her daughter Devyn and her two senior rescue dogs, Cooper and Cleo. She is very excited to be the Art Gallery Director at Hyde Park Fine Art.
Sharon Seifert - Consultant Hyde Park Fine Art

Sharon has officially retired, however, she will continue to work with HPFA in a consulting role. We are very happy to have her continue to work with us!
Sharon has been in the art business for 35 years. As a graduate of the American Academy of Art in Chicago, she learned early-on to merge her artistic gifts with business. She has represented regional and nationally-known artists in Chicago and Santa Fe. More recently, she spent 19 years as an Art Consultant serving interior designers in specifying art for commercial, healthcare and residential
environments. Combining deep industry knowledge and creativity, Sharon is the solutions expert connecting clients with art they will enjoy for a lifetime.
Outside of HPFA, she can found running in the desert, hiking or mountain biking. She lives in Phoenix with her husband Ted.
Dave Harris - Manager Hyde Park Fine Rugs
Dave has been in the home furnishings business since 1990 and after years of experience as an operations manager and home furnishings consultant, chose to specialize in hand woven rugs. He brings 18 years of rug expertise to Hyde Park Fine Rugs as our rug gallery manager. Dave brings an elevated level of professionalism to each rug sale with his experience and knowledge. Dave’s dedication to his career and his clients have led him to build a loyal clientele that relies on him to guide them to wise buying decisions. He considers his client’s lifestyle the most important element of appropriate rug selection.

When Dave is not at Hyde Park Fine Rugs, he can be found hiking, golfing, or traveling with his wife of 33 years.
